Our resort is isolated from civilization on picturesque Lake Wabatongushi, a 10,000 acre lake in Ontario Canada’s boreal forest, which has over 70 uninhabited islands, 28 streams or rivers, thousands of acres of adjacent wet lands, miles of nature trails. Lake Wabatongushi is also in the 3,000 square mile Chapleau Wildlife Preserve, the world’s largest wildlife sanctuary. Sightings of wildlife such as Moose, Black Bear, Loons and Bald Eagles, are numerous. The only hunting allowed since 1925, is with a camera.
